There is much more to an eye examination than meets the eye. Regular eye examinations are a vital health check and not just an assessment of whether or not you need spectacles.
No matter what age you are, you should have regular eye examinations. Conditions that you are not necessarily aware of, such as diabetes, glaucoma and high blood pressure, are often first detected by an Optometrist and before they start causing problems. It is recommended you have an eye examination at least every two years or more frequently if advised by your optometrist.
